A Brighton resident has won a silver medal at the Canadian Tire National Skating Championships in Mississauga.
Trennt Michaud and his partner Evelyn Walsh came second in the Senior Pairs event.
In an interview Skate Canada , Michaud talks about how he and Walsh worked together.
Finishing first was Michael Marinaro and Kirsten Moore-Towers, Michaud’s teammates.
The Brighton native says there is healthy competition between the two teams.
With the finish, they have qualified for the International Skating Union Four Continents Figure Skating Championships next month in South Korea.
