Early morning shoppers at a grocery store in Marmora didn’t quite get to pick up all of the items they wanted to this morning.
At around 8:30, Marmora and Lake firefighters were called to the Valu-mart store on Matthew Street for reports of a gas leak after carbon monoxide detectors sounding.
Gas was detected in the store and the entire building was evacuated.
Firefighters left the scene mid-morning but the store and building will remain closed until equipment repairs are made.
