The City of Belleville will be sending four councillors and the mayor to this year’s Rural Ontario Municipal Association conference in Toronto.
It goes Sunday to Tuesday, and municipalities from across the province will be in attendance.
Mayor Mitch Panciuk says there are a number of concerns that Belleville and other eastern Ontario municipalities have.
He says they want to see emergency measures put in place for the spring of 2020 to help municipalities affected by possible flooding.
Councillors Pat Culhane, Chris Malette, Bill Sandison, and Sean Kelly are also attending the ROMA Conference.
