Lots of students in our listening region will not be going to class next Tuesday.
The Ontario Secondary School Teachers Federation announced teachers will be walking out on the 21st, affecting all grade 9-12 students in the Hastings Prince Edward District School Board. Other public high schools may not be affected
Grade 7/8 students in secondary schools will not be affected.
It is not just public high schools. All Catholic teachers will not be in the classroom Tuesday, meaning Catholic schools with the Algonquin Lakeshore Catholic Board will be closed for the day.
There will also be a full withdrawal of services at French schools, Marc-Garneau, Cite Jeunesse, and the French Catholic school L’Envol in Trenton.
Public school elementary students (K-8) will not be affected.
