On January 13, 2020 at 11 p.m., Belleville Police were notified of a theft of items out of a vehicle parked in the driveway of an east end residence. A number of items were taken out of the vehicle.
Of particular note, numerous pieces of 1920s vintage camera equipment were stolen. Police are asking that if anyone has any information regarding this incident or the possible whereabouts of this equipment to contact Sgt Michael Lockwood at the Belleville Police Service at 613-966-0882 ext. 4088.
The Belleville Police would like to remind citizens to be prudent in securing their vehicles when parked and if possible, not to leave valuables in their automobiles.
