The Belleville Senators are officially in first place in the American Hockey League’s North Division.
The B-Sens made it three wins in a row on the road trip Monday night with a 5-3 win over the Moose in Manitoba.
Michael Carcone powered the offence with his second career pro hat-trick. Parker Kelly scored the game winning goal midway through the second period and Alex Formenton added a late empty netter to seal the deal. Logan Brown was dominant as well recording four assists.
Sens forward Carcone says it’s nice to be heating up this time of year.
Joey Daccord made 23 saves on 26 shots in goal for the win.
Belleville is back in action Wednesday night in a rematch with the Moose in Manitoba. Broadcast time on 800 CJBQ is set for 7:50 with Jack Miller for Deerhaven Farm and Garden.
