The local United Way is calling on people and businesses to dig a little deeper so this year’s campaign can reach its almost $2 million goal.
The campaign comes to an end on January 31 and the goal can certainly be reached as the United Way Hastings and Prince Edward is just $50,000 short.
The local United Way funds 44 charitable agencies and 65 programs helping those in need.
