The Quinte region received a record smashing soaking yesterday (Saturday).
According to Environment Canada and readings taken at CFB Trenton a whopping 59.4 millimetres of rain fell yesterday.
That is almost two and a half inches.
The previous record rainfall was 32.4 mm set in 1981.
