2019 was another good year in the real estate market locally.
Quinte and District Association of Realtors President Heather Plane says last year even eclipsed the record year that was 2017.
The monthly dollar sales for all property types was $51,660,017 reflecting a significant increase of 61.8% over 2018, which was $31,927,300.
The 2019 year-to-date figure also shows a strong result, ending with $1,196,599,204 which is 17.8% over 2018
There were 134 sales in the month of December, up from 86 in 2018.
The average residential sale price trended upwards and came in at over $366,000 , which was 9.4% higher than 2018.
Plane says the market shows Quinte is a tight market with limited properties.
