Fewer building permits were issued but the dollar value was higher as far as construction activity was concerned in Prince Edward County in 2019.
The county’s building department issued 889 building permits with a value of $110.6 million last year.
Back in 2018, 1,018 permits were issued but the value was lower at just over $105 million.
Last month 61 permits were issued in the county with a value of $8.1 million.
