Quinte West OPP have charged a local man with two counts of indecent assault and gross indecency in relation to a historical sexual assault.
Police began an investigation in October 2019 after a complainant came forward about incidents that occurred in the late 1970s in east end Quinte West.
Yesterday (January 2), police charged and arrested 69-year-old David Fredrick Degenova.
He was held for bail and appeared in Belleville court yesterday.
The investigation is ongoing and any one with information regarding the investigation is asked to contact the OPP.
