The mayor of Brighton says one issue dominated things in the municipality in 2019 … water.
As we continue our look back at the year that was, Brian Ostrander tells Quinte News, Lake Ontario water levels were front and centre.
He says the municipality hopes the International Joint Commission will continue their deviation from Plan 2014, so more water can continue to pour out of the lake.
Ostrander says in their first full year as a new council, they were able to hit the ground running.
