The Belleville Police responded to 38 calls for service between December 25, 2019 at 5 a.m. and December 26, 2019 at 5 a.m.
Impaired
On December 25, 2019 at approximately 9 a.m., police were called to a north end location regarding a single motor vehicle that crashed into a tree. When officers arrived at the scene, they located the male driver sitting on the front steps of the caller’s residence. Officers quickly determined that the male was impaired due to the consumption of alcoholic beverages. Thirty-five-year-old Michael Bullock of Belleville provided two samples of breath that were double the legal limit. Consequently, Bullock was charge with impaired operation, drive while over 80 mgs and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle. He was given a first court appearance for January 16, 2020.
