You may be hard pressed to find anyone who feels positively about the health care system because of the increasing aging population and continued funding cuts.
Quinte Health Care President Mary Clare Egberts feels otherwise.
She told Quinte News she is extremely proud of the team at QHC.
Egberts says she is pleased with the creative ways in which staff have dealt with the issues handed to them.
She says the continued capacity at their hospitals is their biggest challenge.
She says they recently held a capacity buster competition to find innovative ideas to tackle the issue.
Egberts says they are always looking for creative ways to do the job.
