A person was killed after being struck by a vehicle on the Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory early this evening (Wednesday).
Reports indicated the person was trapped under the vehicle after being hit on York Road.
In a Facebook post, Tyendinaga Police Service confirmed a fatality.
Mohawk firefighters and Hastings Quinte paramedics also responded.
York Road between Milltown and Upper Slash roads will be closed until sometime tomorrow morning as an investigation by an OPP forensic unit continues.
