Assault
Belleville Ont – On 23 Dec 2019 at 930 pm officers attended at an address on William St in regards to a disturbance.
Upon arrival they located a male in his 80’s with injuries to his face caused by a beating.
The suspect was still on scene and was arrested for assault.
Marc Turcotte a 41 yrs. old Belleville resident was charged with one count of assault and released on an undertaking with a court date in January.
The victim was transported to Belleville General with some injuries to his face which were not serious.
Impaired Driver
Belleville Ont – On 23 Dec 2019 at 1100 pm officers attended in regards to a car accident on Lane av.
A west bound vehicle failed to negotiate a sharp corner and ended up going through a fence.
The vehicle was not able to drive away and two males ran.
Thanks to witnesses the driver was located in a nearby building and arrested for impaired driving.
Brennan Tracey a 25 yrs. old male from Stirling is charged with impaired driving, over 80, and fail to remain.
He was released on an undertaking with a court date in January.
