A domestic incident lead to firearm charges in west end Belleville Sunday afternoon.
Around 3:30 p.m., Belleville Police were called to Westmount Drive, off College Street West, after receiving a call a woman had been assaulted by her boyfriend.
He was arrested for domestic assault, and while officers were searching him, they discovered a loaded handgun.
The victim suffered injury, and the man has a bail hearing today.
