Centre Hasting Mayor Tom Deline feels 2019 was a good year for the municipality.
Deline spoke to Quinte News to reflect on this past year and says development really ramped up.
He says there are currently three subdivisions in progress and 16 kms of road reconstruction that was badly needed was completed.
There were a variety of other accomplishments as well for Centre Hastings.
The municipality also established a community hub in Ivanhoe and Deline says the core area is really starting to come alive.
Centre Hastings also had their share of challenges as well said Deline, even if one might classify it more like a hiccup in the grand scheme of municipal affairs.
Deline says he is very proud of the fact, he and his fellow council members stepped up and picked up the extra responsibilities so their fellow council member could focus on getting better.
He says that councillor ended up only missing one meeting.
