The Belleville Police Service responded to 60 calls for service between Saturday, December 21 at 5:00 a.m. and Sunday, December 22 at 5:00 a.m.
Arrested on warrants
On Saturday afternoon, at 1:44 p.m. police attended a residence on Ridgeway Place. 36-year old Richard Allan Vader of Trenton was arrested on a warrant held by the Belleville Police Service. He was released with a court date of January 16, 2020 on a charge of theft under $5,000.
On Saturday night at 10:43 p.m. an officer conducted a traffic stop on West Moira Street. A check revealed that 37-year-old Jamie Anderson of Belleville was wanted by the Quinte West OPP on outstanding warrants. She was escorted to the Quinte West OPP detachment to deal with her matters.
Disturbances
Early Sunday morning (today) at 1:30 a.m. police attended a licensed establishment on North Front Street with regards to an assaultive woman. A 21-year-old Trenton woman was arrested for her own protection under the Liquor Licence Act. She was issued a provincial offence notice for being intoxicated in a public place.
