Police were called early this morning regarding a stolen truck from the Super Duper on Bridge Street West.
A man left the truck idling while he ran into the store and returned to find his truck missing.
Shortly after, around 3:30 a.m., an officer saw the vehicle stopping in front of an apartment complex on Dunbar Street.
The driver fled on foot but was later found and arrested.
The keys to the stolen vehicle were in the 26-year-old Belleville man’s coat pocket.
He will now face charges of theft of a motor vehicle, impaired driving and breach of probation.
