Search and Rescue techs from CFB Trenton 435 Squadron rescued an injured hunter Thursday night after receiving a call from the OPP.
Two techs parachuted from a CC-130H Hercules to rescue the injured man near Big Trout Lake.
The three were then evacuated via helicopter to Big Trout Lake and the other hunters were picked up by Canadian Rangers.
The group had built a fire to be seen from the air and had a way to call for help.
