A local hospital will receive provincial funding to help with building infrastructure.
Thursday morning, Northumberland-Peterborough South MPP David Piccini announced $960,000 for Campbellford Memorial Hospital.
The money is being invested into safety and security systems at the hospital, to make the building safer for staff, volunteers, visitors, and patients.
It is part of a $175 million Health Infrastructure Renewal Fund being rolled out across the province.
Meantime, Quinte Health Care will be hosting a health care announcement of their own Friday, at Belleville General at 11:30 a.m.
