A local hospital will receive provincial funding to help with building infrastructure.
Thursday morning, Hastings-Lennox and Addington MPP Daryl Kramp announced nearly $1 million for the hospital in Napanee.
Lennox and Addington County General will be getting new boilers to replace those that were installed when the hospital was constructed in 1966.
It is part of a $175 million Health Infrastructure Renewal Fund being rolled out across the province.
Meantime, Quinte Health Care will be hosting a health care announcement of their own Friday, at Belleville General at 11:30 a.m.
