One of the United States’ largest travel agencies now knows a lot more about the Quinte region and its many attractions.
Recently the Bay of Quinte Regional Marketing Board hosted a member of the agency AAA Northeast and toured throughout the area.
The local marketing board’s Business Development Manager Trevor Norris says having an agency like AAA onside can only boost tourism in this region.
The one day tour in the Quinte area by AAA staff was one of five such familiarization tours held in this part of Ontario.
Other areas toured included Toronto, Niagara Falls, Kingston, and Ottawa.
The trip was made possible through coordination from Destination Ontario and financial support from RTO 9.
