One woman was taken to hospital with minor injuries following an accident on the 401 this morning.
Quinte West Fire Chief John Whelan says the accident involved a car and a transport truck and occurred around 9:40 a.m. in the westbound lanes near Glen Miller.
One lane of the highway was closed while emergency services attended the scene.
The transport driver was assessed at the scene and was released.
Brighton Fire and Rescue was also called out to the westbound 401 in the 10 o’clock hour after a tanker truck ended up in the ditch at mile marker 503.
