Quinte West council will try for senior government funding to support a $3.4 million infrastructure project near downtown Trenton.
Should the city receive approval from the provincial and federal governments, local taxpayers would only pay $1.77 million toward the cost of water and sewer along with road upgrades on parts of Lorne Avenue, and McGill and Shuter streets.
