Two people will appear in court following a collision that led to one person flashing a weapon.
Quinte West OPP report a collision between two vehicles occurred on Sunday around 6:50 p.m. on Foxboro-Stirling Road.
Police say an altercation between the occupants of the vehicles led to the collision, which then led to one of the involved people flashing a weapon before fleeing the scene.
Officers arrested two people in different locations a short time later.
Jessica Dale Guest, 23, of Trent Hills was arrested in Quinte West and charged with assault with a weapon, mischief over $5,000 and weapons dangerous.
She will appear in court next month.
Brady Robert John Marrisett, 25, of Belleville was arrested in Campbellford by Northumberland OPP and charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, operation while impaired and failure to remain.
His licence was suspended for 90 days and the vehicle impounded for seven.
He will appear in court later this month.
