Free Flow Petroleum- Minor Peewee (U12)
Friday, the team traveled to meet up with the Ajax-Pickering Raiders. An attractive start a weekend of hockey, the Devils had couple quick goals to start of the game; hitting the twine were Matthew Airhart (unassisted) and Ryland Cunningham (Jack Foley and Kaden Koutroulides). The second period saw no action, however before heading home, both teams hit the scoreboard once, earning Airhart his second of the night (assisted by Owen Rivers). Goalie Katste Brant and the Minor Peewees went home with a 3-1 victory!
On Saturday, the Minor Peewees were home to the York-Simcoe Express, in a game that ended in a 1-1 tie. Quinte’s goal was scored by Cunningham, assisted by linemate Koutroulides and Katste Brant held strong between the pipes.
Back on the road it was, as the crew spent Sunday in Richmond Hill facing off against the Coyotes. Taking a bit of a gradual start to the game, Richmond Hill took a 1-0 lead in the first. Keeping the home team questioning the strategy, it was not until one minute left in the 2nd that Quinte opened their scoring, when Cunningham took a pass from Kolby Craig. On into the final frame, the Coyotes added one more to their tally, otherwise Quinte took charge of the game and the scoreboard. Third period points by: Airhart (Koutroulides and Cunningham), Foley (Rivers and Airhart) and two unassisted goals from Noah Lesser and Rivers. A fInal score of 5-2, Cohen Bedore in net for the win.

McInroy Maines Construction- Major Midget (U18)
The Quinte McInroy-Maines Midget Red Devils struggled through two games, fighting a serious injury bug that saw the team short 7 players by the end of two losses in league play.
On Thursday, QRD dropped a 4-1 decision to Markham. On Saturday, the Red Devils lost 4-1 to RHC.

Bonn Law- Major Bantam (U15)
The Bonn Law Major Bantams had an action packed week facing the Kingston Jr Gaels at home midweek, then travelling to take on the Markham Waxers and York Simcoe Express over the weekend.
The team remains in first place in the ETA with a record of 21-2-3, securing 6 points this week. Wins over Kingston (6-1), Markham (10-2) and York Simcoe Express (3-1) are a testament to the hard work this team continues to put in.

Foley Bus Lines- Minor Midget (U16)
In a pair of road games this past weekend, the Foley Bus Lines Minor Midgets managed to secure all four points in their quest for first place in the ETA standings. This past Thursday, the 04’s headed to their Eastern Ontario rival in the Kingston Jr Gaels in a contest that stayed close until the flood with the Devils leading by one.
The third played out to be the difference as the Devils lit the lamp for four goals to close out the Gaels by a 6-1 final. With a practice day Saturday, the Bus Liners prepared for their road trip to Peterborough to take on the Petes in a Sunday afternoon contest. The Black, Red and White’s got out to a quick two to zero lead by scoring two goals in twelve seconds but a late period lapse allowed a couple breakaway goals to tie the contest before the first had ended. Fortunately, the boys got it back together for the second by finding the back of the net three times before adding one in the third to take the contest with a 6-2 final.
Next action…..The Devils close out the 2019 calendar league play with three games in four days starting at home this Thursday versus the Petes @ 8:30pm Mackay pad, Saturday at home to the Markham Waxers 3:30pm Mackay pad and then hitting the road Sunday 1pm in Oshawa in a sure to be battle with the Generals.
Pita Pit- Major Peewee (U13)
The Pita pits hosted the Kingston jr Gael’s on Wednesday night and came out on top with a 5-1 victory.

On Saturday the Pita Pit Peewees hosted the north central predators. The teams would battle it out to a 3-3 tie.

On Sunday the team travelled to Richmond Hill for a tilt with the Coyotes. The Red Devils battled for a 2-1 win in this one.
Goal scorers were Osterhout and Kaiden Harmon. With a lone assist to Evan Erwin.

World Elite Training- Major Atom (U11)
On Saturday the Devils faced off against the York Simcoe Express. It was a second period game with a lot of action. The Express got on the board first, but the Devils were quick to fire back when Chase Cybulskie scored from Nate Rashotte.
A minute later, Camden Sloan hit the back of net from a pass from Maclean Chisholm. The Express scored again and Quinte was down by one goal at the end of the second period. Sloan from Chisholm for the second time tied the game. The game winning goal came with 30 seconds left in the game when Chisholm scored from Jonas McCoy. Quinte wins 4-3 with seconds to spare!
On Sunday, the Devils hosted the first place Richmond Hill Coyotes in Madoc. The Coyotes came out hot with two quick goals in the first period. The Devils just couldn’t find the back of the net, despite a number of power plays. They took the 3-0 loss against the Coyotes.
Quinte hits the road next week and plays the York Simcoe Express and Markham Waxers before taking a break for the holidays.
Madison Excavating- Minor Bantam (U14)
The Madison Excavating Minor Bantams took 4 points in regular season play this past weekend.
Game one was on the road to face the Coyotes in Richmond Hill. The Devils would go down by a goal in the first but found the back of the net in the second to tie it up 1-1 with a shot from Beckett Ewart, assisted by Ty Therrien. The Coyotes would score a couple more in the second to shift the score again, even as Jared Langdon scores an unassisted. It was the Devils game in the third as they tied the game with a goal from Nolan Donnelly, assisted by Ben Danford and Langdon and took the 4-3 lead on a heavy shot from Caleb Martin on the set up from Deacon Ellis and Landon Wright. Mike McIvor was in net for the win.
Sunday had the Devils host the Peterborough Petes at RCAF. Quinte would battle throughout the game and managed to score in all three sets. Period one saw Therrien and Ewart each pot a goal for an early lead. Assisting in the first were Wright and Langdon. An unassisted goal from Langdon would give the Devils a 3-0 lead. Brody Partridge would add another in the third on the set up from Wright to level out the score to a 4-2 victory. Glen McInnes took care of net-minding duties for the win.
