It was a soggy Saturday in the Quinte region and we have a new record for the greatest amount of precipitation on a December 14.
Yesterday (Saturday) we received total precipitation measuring 23.6 millimetres, 19 mm of which came in the form of rain, the rest in the form of snow.
The previous precipitation record for a December 14 was 22.3 mm set in 1977.
That was all in the form of rain.
