The spirit of giving was in the air on Friday afternoon at the Trenton Curling Club, as the Kiwanis Club of Trenton held their 69th annual Salvation Army luncheon.
The jokes were at times a little blue, but the laughter and the spirit of the event was all full of Christmas cheer.
The hundreds in attendance were very generous, donating a record $161,000 in just two hours.
Last year the event raised $112,000.
All proceeds from the Trenton Kiwanis Christmas luncheon are donated to the local Salvation Army.
