It was a cakewalk for the Trenton Golden Hawks last night at the Duncan McDonald Memorial Community Gardens as they shutout North York 9 – 0.
First star of the game Matt Nastasiuk netted a hat trick while Griffen Fox added a pair for the G Hawks.
Also scoring for Trenton were Colin Van Den Hurk, Ryan Brown, Adam Kim, and Fared Gerger.
Goalie Anand Oberoi stopped all 18 shots he faced. Trenton fired 49 on the North York net in front of 609 fans.
Trenton is on the road today and will play Mississauga tonight (Saturday) at 7:45.
