The Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation is getting financial support from a local home builder.
Klemencic Homes will be donating the proceeds from the very first home built in a new subdivision off 2nd Dughill Road in Trenton (Hillside Meadows). The project is called Home Build for Health Care
President Mark Klemencic says they are teaming up with others to maximize the donation.
Klemencic says they are working with trades and local businesses to help out.
Leon’s Superstore Trenton will be donating the appliances for the home, while the City of Quinte West waived development charges.
Former TMHF Board Chair Phil Wild says this is the fifth time a home build has gone to support TMHF, and this one will help them pass the $1 million mark.
The home is expected to be ready in June. It is a 1,200 sq ft bungalow town home.
