It’s been a tough road trip for the Wellington Dukes.
The Dukes lost their fourth straight game and third straight on the road last night in Georgetown by a score of 3-2.
Quinn Hanna opened the scoring with a power-play goal and Dawson Ellis closed the scoring with a late third period marker, but the Raiders scored three times in between to edge Wellington.
Matt Dunsmoor turned aside 51 shots in the game while the Dukes fired 47 shots of their own on goal.
Wellington wasn’t able to make the most out of their games in hand over the Trenton Golden Hawks and now sit two point behind their Bay of Quinte rival in the standings.
Both the Dukes and Hawks return to action on Friday on home ice.
