Belleville city council will vote on a motion demanding that the provincial government stop trying to save money by cutting back investment in various health care organizations.
Councillor Pay Culhane will put a motion on the floor asking that the province halt closures of, mergers of, and cuts to local health care services including public health units, land ambulances, hospitals, and long term care homes.
City council meets at 4 o’clock Monday afternoon at city hall.
