Brighton Speedway’s Charlie Sandercock has won his 2nd Vanderlaan Building Products Northeast Late Model Alliance stock car championship. Ironically, Sandercock didn’t win a single race in the 6 race series run at Brighton, Humberstone Speedway, Merrittville, Cornwall and Fulton Speedway.
However with three 2nd place finishes and never being out of the top five Sandercock had enough points to finish first overall to collect a cheque for $3500.
Steve Baldwin of Brighton Speedway finished second in points with Sam Pennachio of Humberstone, third.
More than $12,500.00 will be distributed among the NLMA drivers for the year end points fund.
