A man wanted by police will appear in Belleville court today.
On Tuesday afternoon, the Community Street Crime Unit, Emergency Response Team, Belleville Police and Tyendinaga Police attempted to arrest 39-year-old Karl Stinson of Trenton for two outstanding warrants from Quinte West and Northumberland OPP.
Stinson was observed on a bike in the city and fled on foot before being arrested a short distance away.
A search led to the discovery of a quantity of methamphetamine and a further investigation at a home in west end Trenton led to more methamphetamine being seized.
Stinson is facing two counts of failure to comply with a probation order and two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
