He is in his first year of professional hockey but Abbott Girduckis is making his mark in the ECHL.
The 24 year old Belleville native leads the Toledo Walleye in scoring with 10 goals and 11 assists in 18 games.
Girduckis is a graduate of the Quinte Red Devils and Wellington Dukes.
Girduckis joined the Walleye for 7 games late last season following 4 years at the Rochester Institute of Technology where he captained the Tiger s in his final year. He earned All-Atlantic Hockey Association Second Team honors and won RIT’s Art Thomas Award for outstanding leadership.
