Building is booming in the City of Quinte West.
Last month the city issued 90 building permits worth a construction value of almost $8.7 million.
For the year to the end of November, 956 permits were issued with a value of close to $168.3 million.
That total is much higher than the $106.1 million for the first 11 months of 2018.
So far this year permits for 273 single family homes have been issued in Quinte West.
The city has collected almost $2.25 million in development charges so far this year.
