Another Home Build for Health Care is on the way in the City of Quinte West.
At its meeting tomorrow Quinte West council will be asked to waive all fees associated with
new construction to allow Klemencic Homes to build and donate the net proceeds of the sale of
the new home to the Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation.
The fees waived would include building permits and development fees.
Klemencic Homes is proposing to donate the land, labour, overhead costs and profit involved in the build
to the Foundation for local health care needs.
The home would be an end-unit townhome in the new Hillside Meadow Drive development just south of Trenton
Christian School on 2nd Dug Hill Road.
Quinte West council meets tomorrow (Monday) at 6:30 at city hall.
