Environment Canada issues this statement for our region.
Significant snowfall is expected tomorrow (Sunday).
A strengthening low pressure system is expected to bring significant snowfall to the region beginning Sunday and continuing through Sunday night before tapering off Monday morning. The bulk of the precipitation is expected to fall throughout the day on Sunday.
There remains some uncertainty as to the track of the low; however, there is the potential that some areas could see total snowfall amounts of 10 to 15 cm by Monday morning.
