Motor vehicle collisions
On November 26, 2019, police attended at three accident scenes.
At 11:14 a.m., police attended at the intersection of Church Street and Victoria Avenue in relation to a two-car collision. Three people were transported by EMS to hospital with minor injuries. Both vehicles were towed from the scene. A 16-year-old driver was charged with failing to stop at a red light.
At 2:18 p.m., police attended in the parking lot of the Quinte Mall as a vehicle had struck a tree. Both occupants of the car were transported to hospital with minor injuries. The vehicle was towed. There were no charges as the incident occurred on private property.
At 9:50 p.m., police attended in the parking lot of Belleville General Hospital as a vehicle had struck a pole. The car was towed from the scene. There were no injuries. There were no charges as the incident occurred on private property.
Break and enter
On November 26, 2019, at 3:15 p.m., police attended at a residence on Hazel Court in relation to a break and enter. Sometime during the day, unknown persons entered the home and removed a quantity of jewellery, a camera and some foreign currency. Arrest on warrants
On November 26, 2019, at 8:11 p.m., police located a 35-year-old male on Pinnacle Street who was wanted on outstanding warrants. Christopher Peterson, of Quinte West, was held for a bail hearing on November 27 on three counts of breach of probation.
