Council in Prince Edward County is getting set to open the municipality’s wallet.
Councillors will be looking at a report tonight (Tuesday) for the County’s portion of the Eastern Ontario Regional Network agreement for the next three years.
Prince Edward County is being asked for $59,055 for the next three years for the Cell Gap and Capacity Expansion project.
Council is being asked to pre-commit the funds as part of the 2020 operating budget.
Any funds unspent in the 2019 EORN Budget would be utilized in the 2020 budget to offset that year’s contribution.
Council meets at 7 p.m. at Shire Hall.
