The Belleville Police Board has a new contract with its uniformed officers and civilians.
However, the two year contract will expire December 31 so negotiations on another contract will begin in the new year.
The contract features a 2% wage increase in each of the two years.
The Belleville Police Service employs more than 90 uniformed officers and more than 30 civilians.
