It is going to be a busy few weeks for teachers, their unions, and the province, as contract negotiations continue.
Education Minister Stephen Lecce spoke to Quinte News stating they want to see students in schools, and mediation is on the table with OECTA (Catholic), EFTO (public elementary), OSSTF (public secondary) and AEFO (French) unions.
He says unions have been ramping up their attack adds.
He says they want to keep kids in class.
Members of public elementary and high school teaching unions are set to begin withdrawing activities Tuesday.
They include EQAO preparation and testing, working on MOE data reports, professional development put forward by the board or province, and comments on report cards.
Catholic teachers have also voted in favour of a strike.
