Two members of the Belleville Police Service’s Information Technology Unit have been honoured for going above and beyond the call of duty.
At today’s (Monday’s) Police Services Board meeting Joe Myderwyk and Matt Sinclair received commendations from the board and Chief of Police.
Both were recognized for their dedication and hard work, during regular hours and otherwise, preparing the new police headquarters for its up-to-date technological needs all the while maintaining the technologies currently in use.
It’s expected the new police headquarters will be ready for the service to move in by mid-summer.
