In just one week, Grace Inn Shelter will open its doors.
Contractors and volunteers have been working double time to ensure the necessities get done, in order for them to bring people in from the cold.
Board Chair Jodie Jenkins says they now need occupancy from the City of Belleville.
Jenkins says there are things that need to be done, and things that they want done.
He says the focus is the beds and washroom facilities first, and the rest can go as it happens.
The City of Belleville needs to still give occupancy before the doors can open.
