A Belleville man is facing multiple charges for possession of drugs and weapons.
Belleville Police responded to an address in the city’s east end yesterday morning around 5:30 to a report of man with a hand gun trying to break into a nearby car.
Police searched the area and found 36-year-old Joseph Parks sleeping in a pile of rubble with what appeared to be a hand gun, but was actually a pellet gun.
Police searched Parks and also found illegal narcotics.
Parks was taken into custody. He faces charges that include two counts of fail to appear in court, possession of a weapon dangerous, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, break and enter and possession of break and enter tools.
