Our longtime weather guru Kevin Williams has read the tea leaves and he’s predicting a colder than usual winter.
Williams says the cold start to this month could be a sign of things to come.
As far as snowfall this wnter is concerned Williams says that’s a very hard call because our proximity to Lake Ontario means heavy lake effect snow could happen at any time.
He does suggest though that otherwise we could see more snow than usual with an increase in storms spreading from the maritimes.
Williams’ predictions are similar to those made by Environment Canada and The Weather Network.
