The Belleville Police responded to 84 calls for service between November 20, 2019 at 5 a.m. and November 21, 2019 at 5 a.m. .
Motor Vehicle Collision
On November 20, 2019 at 11:45 p.m., two people arrived at the Belleville Police Service. They reported that they were involved in a collision at the Loyalist College parking lot. One of the drivers was heading south through the lot, and struck a vehicle heading east. There was moderate damage to both vehicles. There were no injuries and no charges because the accident occurred on private property.
Mischief
On November 20, 2019 at 5 p.m., police attended at an address on Tracy Park Dr. in regards to a mischief to property. A person reported that two tires on their vehicle had been slashed. There were no witnesses at the time. It is estimated the value of the tires was approximately $350.
Theft
On November 20, 2019 at 9 p.m., officers attended a business on Millennium Pkwy in regards to a theft in progress. Security officers observed a male placing CDs and other items in his jacket. The male left the store without paying and was found in the parking lot. The male was arrested and returned to the store. The 22-year-old Belleville male was released on a trespass order banning him from the business for one year, and a Provincial Offence Notice for engaging in a prohibited activity.
