A 24-year-old man from Tweed is facing charges after a pedestrian was struck in Madoc last month.
Central Hastings OPP say a 70-year-old was taken to hospital with serious injuries and later airlifted to Kingston following the collision which occurred on October 14.
Brennan Ramsay is charged with dangerous driving causing bodily harm and will appear in Belleville court on December 5.
Officers also investigated an altercation at the same location. As a result of that investigation, Denver Cassidy, 36, of Madoc Township was charged with assault.
The accused is scheduled to appear in Belleville court on December 12.
